There are several styles of double handle kitchen faucets

There are several styles of double handle kitchen faucets. Some are quite ornate, while others are more functional. The most ornate type is the bridge faucet, with decorative curves and exposed pipes. The spout of a bridge faucet is typically four to 12 inches high, allowing extra room for washing pots and pans. A widespread faucet is another popular choice, with handles separated from the spout and connecting hoses under the counter. This type of faucet is best paired with an undermount sink, or one with holes in the countertop.

Double handle kitchen faucets offer more flexibility than single handle faucets, and allow you to regulate the temperature and flow of water. The hot and cold levers can be individually adjusted, allowing for incremental adjustments. However, the internal valve in the faucet may be worn or partially blocked, and this may prevent you from achieving your desired temperatures. Some people may think that having two handles in a busy kitchen is a disadvantage. However, this is not necessarily true, and these faucets come in modern versions and are designed for larger kitchens.

Before buying a faucet, make sure to ask about the warranty and parts. Some faucets are cheaper than others, but they often lack the durability and high quality that you need. Also, ask about how easy the faucets are to maintain and replace.
